A short update tonight before my battery runs out, and one not related to the portrait project. Got up at an ungodly hour this morning and took a few shots of the cold in Hamilton on the way to the supermarket. The first one is of the car covered in ice (and it really was ice)

The second shot is through the windshield of the car where the ice has some really cool abstract effect on the view. Closed up the aperture to f16 so both the windshield and background are in focus and there is enough definition in both.

I really like the colours in the car picture! Top stuff! Those warm yellows give it a real 1970’s Kodachrome (R.I.P 2009) vibe!
